A special meeting of the Santa Monica Housing Authority was called to order by Chair Bloom at 12:35
a.m., on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at City Cowrcil Chambers, 1685 Main Street.
Roll Call: Present: Chair Richard Bloom
Authority Member Robert T. Holbrook
Authority Member Kevin McKeown
Authority Member O'Connor
Authority Member Shriven
Absent: Chair Pro Tem Davis
Authority Member Terry O'Day
Also Present: Secretary Rod Gould
Authority Attorney Marsha Jones Moutrie
Authority Clerk Maria M. Stewart
CONVENE On order of the Chair, the Housing Authority convened to a special meeting
at 12:35 a.m., with Authority Member O'Day and Chair Pro Tem Davis
absent.
PUBLIC HEARINGS; 9-A: Puhlic hearing and adoption of Housing Authority Annual Plan
- recommendation to hold a public hearing accept public comment and
adopt the Housing Authority's FY 2011-2012 Annual Plan, including
revisions to Administrative Plan; and authorize the Executive Director to
submit the plans to the Department of Housing and Urban Development,
was presented.
Member of the public Chris McLeod spoke in opposition to the proposed
plan.
Motion by Authority Member Slu-iver seconded by' Authority Member
O'Comror, to approve staff recommendation. The motion was approved
by the following vote:
AYES: Authority Members McKeown, Holbrook, O'Connor,
Shriven, Chair Bloom
NOES: None
ABSENT: Authority Member O'Day, Chair Pro Tem Davis
