RESOLVE: AS FOLLOGJS:
SUCTION 1. That the Parking Authority of the City of
Santa S~ah3.ca, a body politic, yeas activated pursuant to the
Park9.ng Law of. "19J19, by Resolution Na. 517 (CCS), of the City
Council cif the City of Santa Monica, which said resolution was
adopted September 1.2, 1.950,
SBC^1ION 2, That said Parking !luthority, pursuant to
~;he power granted thereto by Section 32802 of 'the Streets and
Hightivays Code of the >t;ate of California, hereby finds, de-
termines, and declares that the public interest, convenience
and necessity require the following impravement to be made, to
wit: the opening up, laying out, and improvement for the
purposes of public off-street parking the :following described
real property located in the City of Santa Monaca, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, to ~r~it:
Lot 'T of Block 172, Town of Santa Monica Tract,'
City of Santa P~onica, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 39,
Pages I+S, et sea,., Miscellaneous Records of said
County.
SECTION 3, Thet seed T'arking Authority hereby finds,
determines and declares that the public interest, conveni~nee
and necessity require the acquisition by said Parking; Authority
1.

of the fed title :in and to said real properties described in
Section 2 of this resolution f`or the purpose of opening up,
laying out and improving said real property for the purpose of
public off-street parkin;.
SECTION 4. That said Parking ,"authority hereby finds,
determines and declares that said acquisition and improvement
has been planned and located in a manner vahich will be most
compatible with the greatest public good and the least private
in,~ury.
SECTION 5. That the attorney for said Parking Authority
hereby is authorized, empawered and directed to prepare; insti'cute
and prosecute in the name of said Parking Authority such pro-
ceed`xngs, in 'che pr^oper court having jurisdiction thereof, as
are necessary for the condemnation of the f'ee title of said real
property described in Sections 2 and 3 of this resolution for
the purposes mentioned in Sections 2 and of this resolution
in the name of said Parking r^uthar3Y;y.
SE~,GTION 6. The Chairman shall execute this resalution
on behalf of said Authority and the Clerk of said body shall
certify to the adaption thereof and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
