A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA FINDING AND DETERMINING
THE PUBLIC INTEREST, CONVENIENCE, AND NECES°
SITY REQUIRE AND AUTHORIZE A CONDEMNATION OF
THE FEE TITLE TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR
THE OPEN%NG UP, LAYING OUT, AND IMPROVEMENT
OF A SITE FOR THE PURPOSE OF OFF-STREET MOTOR
VEHICLE PARKING TN THE CITX OF SANTA MONICA.
THE PA,2KING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA HEREBY DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWSa
SECTION 1. That the Parking Authority of the City of
Santa Monica, a body politic, was activated pursuant to the Parking
Law of 1949, by Resolution No. 517 (CCS), of the City Council of the
City of Santa Monica, which said resolution was adopted September l2,
1950.
SECTION 2. That said Parking Authority, pursuant to
the power granted by Section 32802 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California, hereby finds and determines, and declares
that the public interest, convenience, and necessity require the
following improvements to be made, to wits the opening up, laying
out, and improvement of the following described real property located
in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia, for the purposes of public off-street motor vehicle parkinge

County of Los Angeles,State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 39, Pages 45,
et seq., Miscellaneous Records of said
County,
SECTION 3. That said Parking Authority hereby finds
and determines and declares that the .public interest, convenience,
and necessity require the acquisition by said Parking Authority
of the fee title in and to said real property described in Section
1.
2 of this.. resolution for the purpose of opening up, laying out,
and improving said real property for the purpose of public off-
street motor vehicle parking.
SECTION 4. That said Parking Authority hereby finds,
determines, and declares that said acquisition and improvement has
been planned and located in a manner which will be most compatible
with the greatest public good and the least private injury.
SECTION 5. That the attorney for said Parking Authority
hereby is authorized, empowered, and directed to prepare, institute,
and prosecute in the name of said Parking Authority such proceed-
ings, in the proper court having jurisdiction thereof, as are
necessary for the condemnation of the fee title of said real prop-
erty described in Sections 2 and 3 of this resolution in the name
of said Parking Authority.
SECTION 6. The Chairman shall execute this resolution
on behalf of said Authority and the Clerk of said body shall certify
to the adoption thereof and thenceforth and thereafter the same
shall be in full force and effect.
