SI3CTION 1.-That the Parkin; Authority of the City
of Santa P,4onica, a bady politic, tiaas activated pursuant to the
Parking T,ava of 1g4g, by Resalutian No. 517 (CCS}, of the City
Council of the City of .Santa Monica, which said resolution was
adapted September 12, 7.850.
SECTION 2, That said Parking Authority, pursuant
to the power granted thereta by Section 32802 of the Streets and
Highways Cade of the State of California, hereby finds and de-~
termines, and declares that the public interest, convenience and
necessity r?quire the following improvement to be made, to wit:
the opening up, laying out, and improvement far the purposes of
public off-street parking the fa7.lawing described real property
located in the City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State
of California., Lo wit.
Lit P, Block 172, To'van of Santa Monica.
Tract, City of ~3anta. P~Ianica, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 39a Pages 45,
et seq., Miscellaneous ~iecords of said

SECTION 3, That said Parking Authority hereby
finds, determines and declares that the public interest, conven-

Authority of the fee title in and to said real property de-
scribed in Section 2 of this resalution for the pu-rpase of
opening up, laying out and improving said real property for the
purpose of public off street parkin;„
SEC`T'TQAT 4, That said Parking Authority hereby finds,
determines and declares that sand acquisition <tnd impravernent
has been planned and located in a manner which will be most
compatible with the greatest public good and the least private
injury,
SECTIGN 5. `What the attorney for said Parking Authority
hereby is autYiorized, etnpovvered and directed to prepare, institute
and prosecute in the name of said Parking authority such pro-
ceedings, in the proper court having ,jurisdiction thereof, as are
necessary for the condemnation of the fee title of said real
property described in Sections 2 and 3 of this resolution for the
purposes mentioned in Sections 2 and 3 of this resalution in the
name of said Parking Authority,
SGC`I`ION 6, The Chairman shall execute this resolution
on behalf of said Authority and the Clerk of said body shall
certify to the adoption thereof and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full farce and effect.
