SECTION 1. That the Parking Authority of the Gity of
Santa Monica, a body politic, was activated pursuant to the
Parking Lacy of 1y~Fg, by Resolution No. 517 (CCS}, of the Ci'cy
Council, of the Gity of Santa Monica, which said reso7.ution eras
adopted September 1.2, 1950=
SECTION 2. That said Parking Authority, pursuant to
the power granted thereto by Section 32802 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, hereby finds, de~-
termines, and declares that the public interest, convenience
and necessity require the following improvement to be made, to
wit: the opening up, laying out, and improvement for the
purposes of public off-street parking the following described
real property located in the City of Santa Monica, County of
Los Ange~.es,, State of California, to i~rit:
Lot T of Block 172, Town of Santa P9anica Tract,'
City of Santa Monica, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map racorded_ih Book 3g,
Pages 1+5, et seq., PYiscellaneaus Records of said
County,
SECTION 3, 'T'hat said Par. king Authority hereby finds,
determines a.nd declares that the public interest, convenience
and necessity require the acquisition by sa3.d Parking Authority

SECTION 4. That said Parking .`.uthority hereby finds,

has been planned and located in a manner which will be most
compatible with the greatest public good and the least private
injury,
SL:CTIOIQ 5. That the attorney for said Parking ~lrxthority
hereby is authorized, empowered and directed to prepare; institute
and prosecute in the name of said Parking Authority such pro-
ceedings, in 'che proper court having jurisdiction thereof, as
are necessary for the condemnation of the fee title of said real
property described in Sections 2 and 3 of this resolution for
the purposes mentioned in Sections 2 and 3 of this resolution
in the name of said Parking Authority.
S:L~CTSON 6, The Chairman shall ehecute this resolu'ion
on behalf of said Authority and the Clerk of said body shall
certify to the adoption thereof and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
