9 RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA REQUESTING
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES
COUNTY TO ORDER THE CANCELLATION OF ALL
DELINQUENT AND CURRENT TAXES OR ASSESS-
MENT LIENS LEVIED BY OR ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA OR THE COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES,
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority, a body corporate
ahd politic, did acquire by Grant Deed from FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS
AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF SANTA MONICA, recorded September 6, 1955
in tha County Recorder's office of the County of Los Angeles,
the following described property including the improvements
thereon;
Lot "S" in Block 172 of Santa Monica,
in the city of Santa Monica, county
of .Los Angeles, state of California,
as per map recorded in Book 3, pages
$0 and 81 and in book 39 pages 45
et seq, of Miscellaneous Records, in
.the office-of ,the county .:recorder of
said county;
and
WHEREAS, the property covered by this application
was at the time of acquisition and still is within the corporate
limits of the City of Santa Monica; and
WHEREAS; the property covered by this application
was acquired by the Parking Authority for parking lot purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1, That the Board of Supervisors of Los
Angeles County be and they hereby respectfully are requested to
order the cancellation of all delinquent and current taxes,
penalties or assessment liens levied by or on behalf of the
City of Santa Monica or on behalf of the County of Los Angeles.
and which may be cancelled legally by the proper county officials
pursuant to Section 49$6 (Statutes 1847, Chapter 851) of the
Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2. The. Chairman shall execute this

resolution on behalf of said Authority, ahd the Clerk of said
body shall certify to the adoption thereof and. thenceforth and.
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect,
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 20thday of October
1955.
