A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY'
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MOI~IICA REQUESTING
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES
COUNTY TO ORDER THE CANCELLATION OF ALL
DELINQUENT AND CtTRRENT TAXES OR ASSESSMENT
LIENS LEVIED BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
'OF SANTA"MONICA'pR THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.
-'.WHEREAS, the Parking Authority, a body corporate and
politic, did acquire by Grant Deed from THE BLANG INVESTMENT -
CO., a corporation, recorded September 6, 1955 in the County
Recorder"s office of the County of Los Angeles, the following
described property including the improvements thereon:
Lots "Q" and "R" in Block 172 of
Santa Monaca, an the city of Santa'
Monica, county of Los Angeles, state
of California, as per map recorded
in book 3 pages 80 and 81 and in book
39'page'45 et seq., of Miscellaneous
Records, in the office of the county
recorder of said county;
and
WHEREAS, the property covered,by this application was
at the time of acquisition and still is within the corporate
limits of the City of Santa Monica; and
WHEREAS, the property covered by this application was
acquired by the Parking Authority for parking lot purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles
County be and they hereby respectfully are requested to order
the cancellation of all delinquent and current taxes, penalties
or assessment liens levied by or on behalf of the City of Santa
Monica or on behalf of the County of Los Angeles and which
may be cancelled legally by the proper county officials pursuant
to Section 4886 (Statutes 1947,. Chapter 851) of the Revenue and..
Taxation Code of the State of California.

SECTION 2. The Chairman shall execute this resolution
on behalf of said Authority, and the Clerk of said body shall
certify to the adoption thereof and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
