FEE TITLE TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY b~'OR THE
OPENING UP, LAYING OUT AND IMPROVEMENT OF A
SITE FOR THE PURPOSE ' OF OFFSTi~EET PARK, INCi TN
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA,
THE PARKING AUTHORITY OP" THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA HEREBY DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:.
SECTION 1. That the Parking Authority of the City of
Santa Monica, a body politic, was activated pursuant to the
Parking Law of lg4g, by Resolution No. 517 (CCS} of the City
Council of the City of Santa Monica, which. said resolution was
adopted September l2, 1850.
SEC`T'ION 2. That said Parking Authority pursuant to the
power granted thereto by Section 32802 of the Streets and High-
ways Code of the State of California, hereby finds, determines,
and declares that the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the following improvement to be made, to wit: the opening
up, laying out, and improvement for the purposes of public oi'f-
street parking, the following described real property located
in the City of Santa Moniea, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, to wit:
Lots Q,R, arid S of Block 172, Town of Santa
Monica Tract, as per map recorded in Book 39,
Page 45 et seq., Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County.
SECTION 3. That said Parking Authority hereby finds,
determines and declares tYzat the public interest, convenience
and necessity require the acquisition by said Parking Authority
of the fee title in and to said real properties described in
Section 2 of this Resolution for the purpose of opening up,
laying out and improving said real property for the purpose of
public offstreet parking.

finds, determines and declares that said 2equisition and
improvement has been planned and located in a manner which will
be mast compatible with the greatest public good and the least
private injury,
SECTION 5. That the attorney for said Parking
Authority, hereby is authorized, empowered and directed to
prepare, institute and prosecute in the name of said Parking
Authority such proceedings, in the proper court having juris-
diction thereof, as are necessary for the condemnation of the
fee title of said real property described in Sections 2 and 3 of
this Resolution, for the purposes mentioned in Sections 2 and 3 ,
of this Resolution, in the Warne cf said Parking Authority.
SECTION 6. The Chairman shall execute this
resolution on behalf of said Authority and the Clerk of said body
shall certify to the adoption thereof and thenceforth and
thereafter the same sha11 be in full force and effect.
