THE CANCELLATION QF ALL.DEI,:INQUENT AND
CURRENT TAXES OR ASSESSMENT LIENS LEVIED BY
OR ON`BEHALF' OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA OR
THE cOUNmY of LOS;ANGELES,
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority of the City of Santa
Monica.`is a body politic created and existing under the
Parking Law of 1949, which said law is codified as Part 2
of Division I8, Streets and Highways Code of the State of
Californian and
WHEREAS, said Parking Authority did acquire by
Grant Deeds from Mina Sanborn and Bret S. Bowdish,_,as >.
Executor of the Estate of Marris,Cornellus Bowd3.sh, deceased;
which Grant Leeds were recorded August 4, 1953, in the County
Recorder's Office of the 0ounty of Los-Angeles, the;
following property:

in Bad 39, page 45 et seq. of Miscellaneous
Reoards in the Office of :the Conty Recorder

WHEREAS, said Parking Authority did acquire by Grant
Deed from Ethel P. Bue11, which Grant Deed was recorded
January 4, 1954, in'the County Recorders Office of the County

at the time of acquisition and still is within the corporate
limits of the City of Santa Monica; and

acquired by said Parking Authority for a public purpose;""to
wit, the developing and maintaining of said property as
public parking Lots for motor vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTRORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONIGA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Supervisors of Los
Angeles County be and it hereby respectfully is requested to

order the cancellation of all delinquent and current taxes,
penalties, or assessment liens levied by or an behalf of the
City of Santa Monica, ox on behalf of the County of Los Angeles,
and which may be cancelled legally by the proper county officials,
pursuant to Section X986 of the Revenue and 'T'axation Code of the
. State oP California.
SEC'PTON 2. .The Chairman shall execute this resolution
on behalf of said Authority and the Clerk of said body shall
certify to the adoption thereof and thenceforth and thereafter
