A RESOLUTION OE' THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE
GITY OF SANTA MONICA AU'THORTZING THE CHAIRMAN
TO ENTER INTO COPITRACT 7?OR T'HE STRIPING OF' TIT;
PARKING LOT AT THIRD STREE'P AND BROADWAY.
WI-IEEtEAS, the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica is
the owner of Lots S, T, U, V, W, K and Z, Block 196, Town, of Santa Monica
Tract., and ~
WHEREAS, an income of X1,000.00 per month from said lots is
necessary to service the debt on said lotg and
Y4fiET~FAS, it is to the best interest of the Parking Authority to
be able to obtain tenants for future years at a minimum figure of ~~1,000.00
per month, and
Y9IIEREAS, the striping of said property as requested by Morris
Galper, present tenant, will assist in making the operation profitable and
will increase the probability of the Parking Authority obtaining tenants
for future years at a minimum rental of $1,000.00 per month.

MODIICA DOES RESOLVE; AS E'OLIF;iYdSc
SECTION 1. That the Chairman be and he hereby is authorized to
contract for the striping of the aforementioned property according to the
plans and specifications suggested by Morris Galper at a cost not to
exceed "200.00.
SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Authority shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effects

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution duly was
adopted by the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica at a
regular meeting hereof, held on the 15th day of April, 1954, by the
following four-fifths vote of said Parking Authority:
