A RESCLUTTCN OF THE PARKING
SANTA MONTCA REQUESTING THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO ORDER
DELINQUENT AND CURRENT TAXES
BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
THE CANCELLATION OF ALL

OF SANTA MONICA OR THE
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica
is a body politic created and existing under the Parking Law of 1949,
which said law is codified as Part 2 of Division 1$, Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Parking Authority did aeyuire by Grant Deed
from Louis Meatus and Sylvia b4eitus, which Grant Deed was recorded
December 16, 1952, in the County Recorder°s office of the County
of Los Angeles, the following described. property:
Lots S, T, U, V, W and X, Block 196, Town of Santa
Monica Tract, as, recorded in Book 39, page 45 et seq,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County; and
WHEREAS, said Parking Authority did acquire by Grant Deed
from Harry Hudson and Marie Hudson, which Grant Deed was recorded
Febxuary 27, 1953, in the County Recorder's office of the Gaunty of
Los Angeles, the following described property:
Lots S and T, Block 96, Town of Santa Monica
Tract, as recorded in Book 39, page 45 et seq,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County; and
WHEREAS, the property covered by this application was at
the time of acquisition and still is within the corporate limits
of the City of Santa Monica; and
WHEREAS, the property covered 1~y this application was
acyuired by said Parking Authority for a public purpose, to wit,
the developing and maintaining of said property as public parking
lots for motor vehicles;.. f,

SECTTON 1. That the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles
County be and it hereby respectfully is requested to order the
cancellation of alt delinquent and current taxes, penalties, or
assessment liens levied by or on behalf of the City of Santa N~onica,
or on behalf of the County of Los Angeles, and which may be cancelled
legally by tine proper county officials, pursuant to Section 1,.9$6
of the iVevenue and Taxation Code of the State of California.
SECTION 2, The Chairman shall execute this resolution on
behalf of said Authority and the Clerk of said body shall. certify
to the adoption thereof and thenceforth. and thereafter. the same
shall be in full force and effect.
