V~fTLh'EiiS, at its meeting held on N'overnber 6, 1952, the Parking
.authority of tyre City of Santa i'ionica, by resolution authorized the
Chairman of said authority to execute a contract on be.'nalf of the
aLUthority tahereby the Authority agreed to buy cex°tain real p-ro:perty in
the City of Santa 1•ionica, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
upon the terms and conditions stated in said contract, and to enter into
escrow and do all thin~•s necessary to consummate the sale of said
property. ,Said pro~oerty is more particularly described as:
Lots 5, `P, U, V, v~ and !i, iiiloclc 196, "Town of
Santa i'onica 't'ract, as recorded in Book 39,
Page lH$, et seq, l~iiscellaneous ttecords of
Los Angeles County;
and
'ctiH~;a:l.~5, thereai'ter certain changes were requested by the
sellers of said property and agreed to orally by the members of said
authority relative to the manner in which the payment of the sum due
under said contract should be made; and
~e~tis~n'.;ti,S, on November 12, 1952, pursuant to said suggested changes
a contract by and between said Authority and Louis L. i~'Ieitus and Sylvia
I~leitus for the sale of the property described in said agreement and ex-
ecuted on behalf of said Authority by its Chairman, and an escrow to
effect the sale of said property was entered into on that date.
1~04V, THCRLItORli, the Parking authority of the City of Santa ~'onica
does resolve as follows:
SL;CT2UT~ 1. That that certain agreerent by and between said
'arking Authority and said Louis L. Pdeitus and Sylvia i'Teitus, a dopy of
vahich is attached hereto, wYrich said agreement was executed on t'_ri~ 1?th
day of ivovenioer , 1852, be and the same hereby is approved and the
actin of the Chairman of said authority in executing the same on behalf
of said t~utiiority hereby is ratified and the act of said Chairman in
entering into said escrow according to the terms and conditions of said
agreement, and such other terms as are contained in said escrow hereby
is approved and ratified and his a~.af;!.ority to execute said agreement and
said escrow instructions, as of Novenioer 12, 1952, =iereby is declared to
'nave been authorized by this said body®
,C'i~`CTIOlti 2. The Chairman shall execute this resolution on behalf
of the said .authority and the Clerk of said body sn.a.ll. certify to tY?e
adoption thereof and thenceforth and thereafter tYze same shall be in
full Force arad effect<
