RESOLUTIUN NU, 2 (Parking Authority)
A RESOLUTION OF TIIE PARKING AUTHORITY
OP THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA REQUESTING
THAT TI3E CITY .COUNCIL PURCHASE CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY AND AGREPvING TO RE-
IMBURSE THE CITY THF,REFOIi,
WHEREAS, Lot P in Block g5 of the To4vn of Santa
Monica is available for public parking; and
WHEREAS, lot is needed for public parking in the
immediate area; and
WHEREAS, 3.f acquired by the Parking Authority of
the City of Santa Monica such property would not be avail-
able for public parking;.
NUW, TIiERFFURE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OP TIIE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Parking Authority requests that
the City Council of the City of Santa Monica take such steps.
as are necessary to acquire Lot P, Block 95, Town of Santa
Monica.
SBCTIUN 2. The Parking Authority, upon acquisition
by the City of Santa P~ionica of Lot P, Block g5, Town of
Santa Monica, hereby authorizes and directs the City Con-
troller to transfer from the funds of this Authority to the
City of Santa Monica the purchase price of said property
and.all incidental expenses of the City in the acquisition
of said property.
SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Authority shall certify
to the adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
