This report transmits the attached ordinance for
reintroduction and a public hearing thereon.
Background
At its meeting of May 23, 1978 the City Council
was presented an ordinance for adoption amending the Municipal
Code Civil Service Provisions necessary to implement
Memoranda of Understanding pertaining to regulation of
disability absence and disability payments pursuant to the
Worker's Compensation Act, At said meeting the City
Council moved to amend the ordinance to clarify regulatory
provisions. The ordinance annexed hereto contains: the
requested alterations.
