SUBJECT: Approval of Classification Specifications
In troduc tion
This report requests approval of two new classification
specifications and two revised classification specifications.
Background
In adopting the FY 83-84 budget, Council approved and established
salaries for several new positions in the Transportation Department.
Classification specifications for Assistant Administrative Services
Officer and Transportation P4aintenance Manager were prepared by
Personnel and approved by the Personnel Board on June 13, 1983.
As part of Personnel's routine updating of existing classification
specifications, appropriate changes have been made to the Traffic
Painter and Student worker specifications. The Personnel Board
approved the revisions on June 13, 1983. No salary changes are
associated with these revisions.
Recommendations
It is recommended that Council adopt the attached classification
specifications.
