Background - Vew Classification S ecifications The following new classification specifications are required to implement program and organizational changes approved by the City Council in the adopted 1983-1984 budget; Title 1. Administrative Services Officer 2. Civil Engineer 3. Lead Plumber 4. Recycling Crew Leader 5. Trade Supervisor Department Transportation General Services General Services General Services General Services 6-F Background - Revised/Retitled Classification Specifications The following revised/retitled classification specifications are required to implement changes in duties and/or titles approved by the City Council in the 1983-1984 budget: Title 1. Electrical Facilities Superintendent 2. Public Facilities Maintenance Superintendent 3. Recycling Coordinator 4. Waste Water Supervisor 5, Waste Water Crew Leader 6. Water and Waste Water Superintendent 7. Water Meter Repairer 8. Water Supervisor- Construction 9, Water Supervisor- Meters Former Title Department Electrical General Services Facilities Supervisor Public Facili- General Services ties Coordinator Same General Services Sewer General Services Supervisor Sewer Crew General Services Leader Water General Services Construction & Maintenance Superintendent Meter Repairer General Services Assistant Water General Services Supervisor- Construction Assistant Water General Services Supervisor- Meters Budget/Financial Impact Funds required to support the new or revised classifications have been approved by the City Council and are reflected in the adopted budget. Salaries for these positions were adopted by Council Resolution No. 6709 on June 21, 1983.
