This report is requesting City Council to adopt a resolution
setting a public hearing for the establishment of an undergrounding
utility district on Clover yield Boulevard bettreen the Santa Monica
Freeway and Santa .Monica Boulevard.
Background
Certain funds are set aside each year by the Edison Company,
as require:' by the Fublic ,Ttilities Co;"„„mission to finance the cost

This is to advise you that on August 26, 1975, the City
Council of the City of Santa Monica adopted Resolution No.
4672(CCS) entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA FINDING THE PUBLIC NECESSITY, HEALTH,
SAFETY AND WELFARE REQUIRES, WITHIN A CERTAIN DESIGNATED AREA,
THE UNDERGROUND INSTALLATION OF WIRES AND FACILITIES SUPPLYING
ELECTRIC, COMMUNICATION OR SIMILAR OR ASSOCIATED SERVICES ON
CLOVERFIELD BLVD. BETWEEN THE SANTA MONICA FREEWAY AND SANTA
UTILITY DISTRICT AND ORDERING THE REMOVAL OF POLES, OVERHEAD
WIRES AND ASSOCIATED OVERHEAD STRUCTURES WITHIN SUCH DISTRICT
AND THE UNDERGROUND INSTALLATION OF SUCH WIRES AND FACILITIES"
If you are one of the property owners required to perform
certain ~oork in connection with this project (see Enclosure A)
said work must be accomplished within 130 days from August 26,
1975.
Your attention is directed to Enclosures B and C attached
hereto.
