Housing Incentives in Accordance with State Density Bonus Law
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance
Executive Summary
At its meeting on February 8, 2011, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Santa Monica Municipal Code Sections 9.04.10.14.040,
9.04.10.050, and 9.56.050, and added Santa Monica Municipal Code Sections
9.04.10.14.060, 9.04.10.14.070, 9.04.10.14.080 and 9.04.10.14.090 to modify the City's
density bonus and affordable housing Incentives in accordance with the State Density
Bonus Law. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
