This is an ordinance recommendation to the City Council by the Airport Coxnxnissior_
relative to the requirement that acoustical sound proofing m~:terials be used on all
new construction of a designated area within the vicinity of Santa Monica Municipal
Airport.
Background
The Airport Commission approved the following recommendation to be forwarded to
Council and the Planning Commission:

The administrative staff recammends that this matter be referred to the Planning
