FOR FILING.
As you kno~rr, the ma~_ntenance yard at ~Toodla-vrn Cemetery
is located adjacent to the main entrance to the Cemetery,
{ri th its entrance just tothe rear of the Administration
bu;lding. Since all funeral corteges enter the cemetery
at this location, the imioression persons in the procession
receive ~.,rould be materially improved ;f the entrance to
the maintenance yard was screened.
The only effective gray to screen this entrance ;s to
install a -rolling chain-link gate, o' high and ap~oroxi-
tnately 22' long, with slats in the mesh to forma solid
face, that cane be rolled 'crack alongside the adjacent
building during rnro'rking hours and rolled out to screen
the yard during funerals.

It is -recommended that the City Council be requested to
appropriate X325 for the purchase and installation of this
gate and authorize the :u-rchasing Agent to solicit proposals
for the same.
