Projects Subject to the Construction Rate Program can be Delayed
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on December 7, 2010, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance extending Interim Ordinance No. 2250 (CCS) which clarifies the scope of the
prohibition of new construction within a 500 Foot Radius of another construction project
and establishes the maximum length of time that projects subject to the construction
rate program can be delayed. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for
adoption.
