Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on December 7, 2010, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Santa Monica Municipal Code provisions that relate to street
performance and the use of equipment and amplification in certain public spaces, and
adding a provision restricting sex offenders contact with children. The ordinance is now
presented to the City Council for adoption.
