Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinances.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on November 9, 2010, the City Council introduced for first reading
ordinances granting franchises to Bell Cab Company, Independent Taxi Owners
Association, Metro Cab- Company, Taxi Taxi, and Yellow Cab Company to provide
taxicab services in the City of Santa Monica. The ordinances are now presented to the
City Council for adoption.
