A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA APPROVING A REPLACEMENT HOUSING PLAN IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PROPOSED 520 COLORADO PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Monica ("the
Agency") will be considering a loan application from Step Up on Second ("SUOS") to
acquire certain real property located at 520 Colorado Avenue; and
WHEREAS, prior to entering into a loan agreement for the acquisition of the
property, the Agency is required to adopt a Replacement Housing Plan if the proposed
redevelopment project will lead to the destruction or removal of housing units from the
low-and moderate income housing market; and
WHEREAS, the Replacement Housing Plan, as attached to the Staff Report
dated November 9, 2010, complies with. the requirements of Health and Safety Code
Section 33413.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The Redevelopment Agency hereby approves the Replacement
Housing Plan; as attached to the Staff Report dated November 9, 2010, pertaining to
the proposed redevelopment project at 520 Colorado Avenue.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this. Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
