It has come to the notice of this Association that
library facilities of the Fairview Branch Library
2030 Pico Boulevard, Santa P~tonica, xill be discontinued
as of July 1, 198.
The citizens in the vicinity of this Branch Library
protest the progosed closing of this splendid facility
and respectfully urge this Council not to do sa,

pub~ie;use of the facilities of 'that `Branch which indicate
rather conclusively that citizens and taxpayers are
receiving much benefit therefrom.
Fair View Heights Improvement. Association joins with
other citizens in protesting to this Honorable Council
the discontinuance of library service at the Fairview Branch,
and suggest that possibly the premises for which rental of
X60,00 monthly is being paid by the Gity, could be acquired
by purchase.
