Thies report transmits the attached ordinance
for introduction for second reading .and adoption,
Background
The City Council held the first reading and
public hearing on this ordinance.. at its meeting of
February 14, 1978. A copy of each of the previous staff
reports is attached hereto for information purposes.
Additionally, attached is a resolution. increasing the
salary of the Director of Entertainment Facilities by
three thousand dollars, as was provided in the previous
staff report, and authorized by the City Council at the
time of previous consideration of the consolidation which.
the attached ordinance accomplishes.
Alternative Solutions
The City Council may adopt the attached ordinance

as written, or modify it as it may desire. Additionally,
the City Council may adopt the attached resolution providing
for a salary increase of three thousand dollars for the
Director of Entertainment Facilities.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the City
Council introduce the attached ordinance for second reading
and adopt the same, as written and also adopt the attached
resolution providing for the above stated salary resolution.
