SUBJECT: Proposed Ordinance Allowing Automatic Fire Service
Water Rates to be Set by Resolution
INTRODUCTION
This report transmits for adoption a proposed ordinance
allowing Automatic Fire Service water rates to be set by Resolution.
BACKGROUND
This ordinance was introduced by Council as Item 6D at its
December 10, 1980 meeting, continued from its December 9, 1980 meeting.
The proposed ordinance amends Section 7212 (b) to allow the
Automatic Fire Service rates to be set by Resolution. The Resolution
setting those rates on a bi--monthly basis by size of service is
attached to be adopted at this time.
RECOM_MEDTDAT I ON
It is respectfully recommended the Council adopt this proposed
ordinance allowing Automatic Fire Service water rates to be set by
Resolution and adopt the Resolution setting those rates.
