SUBJECTe Purchase for the Bus Department of Lots 12 and 13
of Tract 974, Located on the Nor therly Side of
Trellis Court, Easterly of Fifth Street and Abut-
ting the Present Bus Property
I have this date negotiated a settlement with Mr.
Ulrich covering the above-captioned property for a total con-
sideration of $57,500 {11.500 square feet, $5 per square foot)
without any consideration in connection with the alley. This
is the same price as originally recommended.
As indicated in my previous memorandum to you, the
appraiser advises that $5 per square foot is within range
and reflects favorably on our appraisal of $4,50 per square
foot.
The .only conditions attached to this price are that
Ulrichs retain possession until December 31, 1966 and that in
the interim they will give the necessary notices terminating
all tenancies as of that date.
I recommend that the City Council approve this trans-
action as submitted. I have discussed this with the City
Manager and he concurs. Should the Council see fit to approve
this proposal a resolution approving the transaction is attached
hereto,
