At. ;lie prosent_ time we have fc-r sale the folio?oirg used buses.

7- 1957 G.ii.C. 4$-passenger Nfodel TDl~?4801 @ $7,SOC,OG each.
The above prices were set by the City Council at their meetings
of June 13, 1967 and July- 1l, 1.967. Since that time, although ~,_
have advertised through a ntli-nber of used Pus Srokers, we have r_
ceived no bids on this equipment. As I have mentioned before, the
used bus market is severely depressed due to the large number of
ne~~~ buses being purchased o;ith nwney suppiie:d by the Federal Govern-
ment.

Cit}*. I reconnuend that c,e accept this bid and request your approval
to do so. T further request that the price on the other 1957 models
be reduced to 56,750. G0 per bus, and that tine price on the 1956
models be reduced to $6,00 Q OOper bus.
U'<^. .gill, of course, do our best to get i:op dollar on these buses r.e-
gard%ess of the approved minimum., izoczever in view of the ia-rg. num°
ber of used i;uses or. the ;Zarket today, 7 hesitate to say t,~nat the
top dollar will be. Ide taould; hc:aever, like to test the market agair.
