Unicef's International
Date Change
Dear Mr. P1cClain:
Santa Monica"
Year of the Child
It was a pleasure speaking to you today about "Roller-
skating Day in Santa P4onica" for Unicef's International
Year of the Child. Per our phone conversation, there
are two major companies interested with our event:
Showtime-Viacom, a major T.V. production company, and
Billboard Magazine, the "bible" of the .music industry.
Vde need an extension of three weeks, .from July 8th to
July 29th, 1979, to organize a complete program for
television. The show will consist of a rollerskating
disco dance .group, roller disco fashion show, a roller
disco dance contest, well known comedian, and two live
disco acts.
I look forward to wori<ing with you and the City Council
and having a very successful event. Thank you.
