Subject: Ordinance Amending the Sidewalk Obstruction Regulations
Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on October 12, 2010, the City Council introduced for first reading an
ordinance amending Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 3.12.372 and adding
Section 3.12.373 limiting persons and objects from impeding driveway access and
obstructing sidewalk traffic. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for
adoption.
