Petition for Street Lighting - 23rd Street,
San Vicente Boulevard to Georgina Avenue.
Transmitted herewith is a petition received by the
Street Superintendent for installing modern street
lighting on 23rd Street, between San Vicente Boule-
vard and Carlyle Avenue, which bears signatures
representing 34.7 of the front footage. The
breakdown by blocks is as follows:
San Vicente Boulevard to
Georgina Avenue ------------- 70.6 in favor
Georgina Avenue to
Carlyle Avenue -------------- 8.5~ in favor
It is recommended that the City Council be requested
to instruct the Street Superintendent to institute
proceedings for the installation of modern street
lighting on 23rd Street, between San Vicente Boule-
vard and Georgina Avenue, under the provisions of
the 1911 Improvement Act.
