SUBJECT: Petition for Street Lighting - 21st Street,
Montana to Marguerita.
Transmitted herewith is a petition received by the
Street Superintendent for installing an incandescent
street lighting system on 21st Street between Montana
Avenue and D4arguerita Avenue. The petition is signed
by 50.0° of the property owners.
The percentage in favor by blocks is as follows:
Montana to Alta ----------------- 61.1%
Alta to iTarguerita -------------- 41.7
It is recommended that the City Council be requested
to instruct the Street Superintendent to institute
proceedings, under the provisions of the 1911 Improve-
ment Act, for the installation of incandescent street
lights on 21st Street between Montana Avenue and Alta
Avenue.
