A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING ATTACHMENT A WHICH WAS INADVERTENTLY OMITTED FROM
ORDINANCE NUMBER 2319.{CCS), AN ORDINANCE WHICH, IN PART,
TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED CERTAIN MUNICIPAL CODE PROVISIONS DURING
THE GLOW ART FESTIVAL
WHEREAS, at ifs meeting of August 10, 2010, the Gity Gouncil adopted
Ordinance Number 2319 {CCS) which, in part, suspended certain Municipal Code
provisions, including those establishing night-time closure hours so that the City could
produce its second GLOW artfesttvai; and
WHEREAS,. Section 2(a) of Ordinance Number 2139 {CCS) refers to Attachment
A which lists the particular code sections to be suspended; and
WHEREAS, this attachment was prepared and reviewed, but was inadvertently
omitted from the Council packet; and
WHEREAS, only the GLOW Zone and installation map was attached- to
Ordinance Number 2139 (CCS), referenced in the ordinance as Attachment B; and
WHEREAS, this resolution corrects this omission by providing this Attachment A,
listing the specific- Municipal Code provisions to be temporarily suspended, which

attachment constitutes the list of Municipal Code provisions that should have been
affixed to Ordinance Number 2319 (CCS),
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The provisions of the Santa Monica Municipal Code listed on
Attachment A to this Resolution constitute the Code provisions that will be temporarily
suspended pursuant to Section 2(a) of Ordinance Number 2319 (CCS) adopted by the
City Council on August 10, 2010 and shall be considered to be Attachment A to
Ordinance Number 2319. As provided in Section 2(b) of Ordinance Number 2319
(CCS), unless otherwise provided in that ordinance,. the suspension of Code provisions
only applies within the geographic boundaries shown on the GLOW Zone and installation
map which constitutes Attachment B to Ordinance 2319 (CCS).
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
