A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING THE RATE FOR FOOD TRUCKS
ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2010 IN DESIGNATED BEACH LOTS FOR GLOW
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica is hosting GLOW, on September 25,
2010, from 7pm to 3 am; and
WHEREAS, GLOW is a significant regional event that will promote Santa
Monica to the region; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized to set parking rates and permit
fees, by resolution, for the City's parking facilities and preferential parking zones;
and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide access to services for participants
on the night of the event and to recoup the costs of producing the event; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance Number 2319 (CCS) on
August 10, 2010 providing for permitting and vending associated with Glow.

GOES RESOLVE AS FO<_L{~WS:
SECTION °I. In order #a properly manage the City's parking resources on
Sa#urday, September 25, 2090, i# is in the bes# interes# of the City to provide parking
designated areas of the beach lets for a select number of feed trucks.
SECTIOE~ 2. Parking permits far fond trucks shall be a# a rate of $300 per truck
far the Jura#ian of the event in the designated area of the South E3each lets.
SECTION 3. Parking permits far food trucks shall be at a rate of $450 per truck
far the duration of the even# in the designated area of the '15501 lat.
SECTION 4. The Ci#y Clerk shall certify #a the adaptian of #his Resole#ian, and
#henaefarth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
