In accordance with present City Council policy, and as set forth on page 24 of
the revised Master Plan of Public Works, letters were mailed to all persons
owning property on the following streets relative to the construction, or moderni-
zation, of street lighting systems on said streets. Following are the results of
this survey:

A separate survey was made relative to installing a street lighting system in
20th Street between Pico Boulevard and Colorado Avenue. Letters were wiled
to property owners on August 9, 1963. The results of this survey are as follows:

As a result of this survey, the City Engineer will take the following action:
1. The proposed lighting of Ocean Park Boulevard {priority 11); San Vicente
Boulevard {priority 14}; and the modernization of Broadway lighting
{priority 7) will be abandoned.
2. Preparation of plans will commence for the lighting of 20th Street between
Pico 8_ _oulevasc~and Colorado Avenue (priority 8}, said lighting to be con-
structed under the terms of'the 1911 Act concurrently with the widening of
said street.
