Recommendation to ~Jaive Formal Bid Procedures for the
Procurement of Special Floodlights to Relamp John Adams
Ba11 Field.
Introduction
This report concerns the Sole Source Procurement of Special
Floodlights in the estimated amount of $9,444.60 including
applicable sales tax. Funds for this purchase have been budgeted
in account number 79684-000.
Background
The Public Facilities Maintenance i)epartment has a requirement for
"Special" Floodlights to Re lamp John Adams Ba11 Field, This
is a proprietary item with Commercial Lighting Equinrient Co.,
thereby necessitating a sole source procurement in accordance with
Section 2506-A of the Santa T4onica Municipal Code "Exception to
Competitive Bidding",
Recommendation
It is recommended that the attached resolution be approved authorizing
the City Manager to execute a purchase agreement in the estimated
amount of $9,444.60, including tax.
