Introduction
This report requests Council approval of the attached resolution for fees and
charges in the Recreation and Parks Department
Background
At their meeting on June 11, 1980, under item 7-A, Council established the fee
for use of buildings to be the 1980-81 fee in current use. At the July 22, 1980
meeting under item 11-A, Council waived the fee for youth sports lights, teen
gym drop-in program, and teen sports programs and subsidized bus costs for
youth and teen special events. Council also retained the present swimming pool
fee structure.
Staff has included the waiving of building .rental fees for resident youth groups
in this new resolution. Any revenue loss from this would be minimal and is in
keeping with current Council policy.
Recommendation
Staff recommends Council approve the resolution as submitted.
