Background The City Council held a first reading and public hearing on the attached ordinance at its meeting of February 14, 1978, The attached ordinance, if enacted, would prohibit the use of skateboards in public parking structures, including those owned by the City of Santa Monica and those owned by the Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica. A copy of each of the previous staff reports is attached for information purposes.
