Pursuant to Council instruction, we have investigated the
advisability of reconstituting the subject committee. Through
channels, we contacted Harold Yates, Relocation Advisor for
the Division of Highways, who advised that there remasned only
four or five families to relocate, and that he anticipated no
particular problem.
Although Mr. Yates felt there was no need for reinstating the
committee, he had high praise for its efforts and accomplishments,
and was recommending the promotion of such a local organizatson
in every area wherein the extension of the freeway system
created a relocation problem.
