This office is in fu11 accord`*,vi~h'th` propo~ari~to vacate
Sixteenth Street between Seventeenth Street and ivrarine Street.
This recommendation actually has been made in the proposed
master plan for recreation which is no~~r before the planning
comrlission, as is the further recommendation that all of Tract
iVO. 14?30 be acquired for recreational purposes,
+tith regard to the suggestion that Sixteenth Street from
Seventeenth Street to Dewey Street be widened to a fu11 50 Ft.,
it would appear that the amount of traffic to be expected on
this stub erd street may not be sufficient to justify this
expenditure. The lot described in the petition as Lot tio. 437,
Tract No. 9833, no longer exists having been resubdivided to
form Tract No. 1L;~30,
