SUBJECT:. Proposed Street Lighting on Ozone Ave., Navy and P1arine Streets
between Highland Avenue and Lincoln Blvd.
Introduction
This report requests the City Council to adopt a Resolution approving Special
Provisions No. 905, Drawing No. 5317, and Assessment P1ap No. 5317A; and a
resolution ordering the work under the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911.
Background
The public hearings for the subject project have been held during which there
was only a 3% protest. Plans and specifications for the project have been
completed and are ready to be submitted to the contractors for bidding.
The proposed project schedule is as follows:
Advertise ................ October 12 and 13
Open bids ................ November 12
Award Contract ........... November 13
Complete Construction .... January 25, 1980
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council:
1. Adopt the resolution approving plans and specifications:
2. Adopt the resolution ordering the work.
