Coc'~ins is of the opinion that while wrestling was not specifically mentioned, the City Council, by their action of Dray 12, 1~5p, tvhere;n the Civic Auditorium P'Ianager t~ras instructed to sign no fdr~;al con- tract for boxing here at Civic Auditorium vrithout the approval of the Council and the filing of a report arith the Auditorium Advisory C'arnl~nittee, that their intent ryas to include t^rrestling, 'this office has an opportunity to enter into a contract with one-Louie i'~Ii11er to present trestling here at Civic Auditorium on any and all available Rronday nights, said promoter to pay Four Hundred Dollars (~40G.00) bash rental and any labor charge involved in the setting uo and demolition of risers necessary for the attraction. i~Lr. Driller is vaell known to this office, having been the umestling promoter at the Long Beach Auditorium for a period. of five years and he is now ;oromoting c+rrestling in the net+r Auditorium in Riehiitond, California as *r:ell as PlTodesto, He has been found to be an excellent, aggressive promoter and honorable in all dealings.
