Financial Impacts & Budget Actions
The total budget for Glow is approximately $600,000 including the cost for direct City
services. Funding in the amount of $165,000 is available through the City's public art
funding with the balance coming from the Santa Monica Arts Foundation and many
other funding partners including significant grants from the National Endowment for the
Arts and the Annenberg Foundation. Although all of the required funds have yet to be
secured staff has contingency plans in place and believes that a quality event can be
produced with available resources.
