13-B: Request of Councilmember Bloom that the City Council approve the use of
Council travel funds for expenses, within city policy, for the National
Alliance to End Homelessness' (NAEH) Annual National Conference to End
Homelessness in July, 2010. In addition, it is requested that staff return
with its determination re the appropriateness of adding the NAEH and the
U.S. Interagency Task Force on Homelessness to the list of permanently
approved organizations whose events Council members may utilize travel
funds to attend without further council approval (as directed by the Council
on May 27, 2009).
