A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Shriver at 6:04
p.m., on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.

Ct7NVENElPLET)GE On order of the Mayor Shriver, the City Council convened at 6:04
p.m., with all members present. Councilmember Kevin McKeown led
the assemblage in the Pledee of Allegiance.
S~'FJI)Y SESSION: Members of the public Donna Sternberg, Pro Se, Rochelle LeBlanc,
Kathy Osburn, Frankie Aggers, Grace Braun, Michelle Quiroga-Diaz,
James Keyes, Jean Kelly, Pauline Mollin, Polina Popova-Havens; Tobi
Inlander, and Patti Oblath spoke in support of finding for various
programs and activities.
As a continuation of budget presentations made on Wednesday, May
26, 2010, respective department directors presented the remaining
individual departmental budgets as follows:

On order of the Mayor, the information was received and filed.
C®UNCILMEMBER 13-A: Request of Councilmember McKeown to support the Food
1)ISCUSSI®N ITEMS: and Farming Veterans' Career Fair June 30th at the Santa
VETERANS' CAREER Monica Civic Auditorium, by allocating from remaining funds in
FAIR the Council contingency fund for fiscal year 09-IO $7,575 to the
Farmer Veteran Coalition, a project of Community Partners of
Los Angeles, was presented.
Motion by Cotmcilmember McKeown. seconded by Cotmcilmember
Bloom, to approve recommendation.
AYES: Coimcilmembers McKeown, O'Day, Davis, Holbrook,
Bloom, Mayor Pro Tem O'Coimor, Mayor Shriver
