SUBJECT: Setting March 10, 1981, as the Date for
Public Hearing on the Assessment of Costs
to Repair Damaged Sidewalks, Driveways,
and Curbs (SR-80-14)
Introduction
This report requests the City Council set a public hearing for the
assessment of the costs to repair damaged sidewalks, driveways and
curbs.
Background
On October 9, 1979, the City Council approved a sidewalk repair
program which provided for property owner participation in the
cost of repairing damaged sidewalks (Item 11-C). Property owner
participation was set at 50q of the cost of the repairs; the City
will pay the remaining 50~ of the cost of the repair without
regard to the reason for the damage.

Recommendation
It is recommended the City Council adopt the attached resolution
setting a public hearing for March 10, 1981, on the assessment of
costs of the subject sidewalk repairs.
