SUBJECT: Recommendation to Award Bid for Refuse Containers and Lids.
Bid No. 1719.
Introduction
This report concerns award of bid for 150 refuse containers and 200
sets of container lids in the total amount of $39,379.00 including
applicable sales tax. Funds for this purchase are available in
account number 27-500-441-000-425 (Refuse Collection)
Background
In response to published Notice Inviting Bids to furnish and
deliver refuse containers and lids in accordance with City specifications,
bids were received and publicly opened and read March 11, 1982.
Proposal forms were mailed to 15 vendors and notices were advertised
in accordance with City Charter and Municipal Code provisions.
Four proposals were received as follows:
