A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
PREPARED FOR THE ST. MONICA CATHOLIC COMMUNITY CAMPUS
ENHANCEMENT PROJECT LOCATED
AT 725 CALIFORNIA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, a Notice of Preparation (NOP) was filed with the California Office of
Planning and Research on January 5, 2009 and distributed to involved. public agencies
and interested parties for 30-day public review period that concluded on February 5,
2009; and
WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion and Public Availability of a Draft EIR was
published on November 25, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Draft EIR was circulated fora 30-day period that concluded on
December 30, 2009; and
WHEREAS, on March 5, 2010, the Final EIR was published; and
WHEREAS, on April 13, 2010, the City Council, as Lead City Agency, has
reviewed and .considered the Final EIR in full compliance with State and City CEQA
Guidelines.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council has reviewed and considered the information
contained in the Final Environmental Impact Report on the St. Monica Catholic
Community Campus Enhancement Project prior to acting on the project.
SECTION 2. The City Council certifies that the Final EIR for the project was
presented to the City Council, that the Final EIR was completed in full compliance with
State law and City CEQA Guidelines, that there was adequate public review of the Draft
Environmental Impact Report, that it has considered .all comments on the Draft
Environmental Impact Report and responses to comments, that the Final Environmental
Impact Report adequately discusses all significant environmental issues, and that the
Final Environmental Impact Report reflects the independent judgment and analysis of
the City Council
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
