The action of the Planning Commission was based on their finding that the pro- posed subdivision should cause no substantial environmental damage and is in conformance with all stateand local laws and regulations and applicable General Plan Elements. The Final Map conforms to-the Tentative Map.. The License Division reports that the developer has eithew paid or agreed to pay the condominium tax. The Building and Safety and Fire Departments indicate that the project meets present fire safety requirements. Approval by the County Engineer's office has been received for the project.. Demolition was completed August 4, 1978 and construction. completed. November. l5, 15, 1979.and recorded .November 26, 1979. Alternatibes State and City ordinances require approval of final subdivision .maps which comply- avith approved Tehtative Maps. Recommendation Inasmuch as the Final Map conforms to the. approved Tentative Map, the buildings meet required safety standards and the tax has been paid or an agreement to pay executed, it is respectfully recommended that the City Council affirm the find- ings of the Planning Commission and approve said Map with the advisement that approval of the Final Subdivision Map does not release the subdivider from compliance with the Rent Control Ordinance requirement for an exemption or removal permit: Prepared by: J.
